Hotel Trastevere is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in everyone on the staff made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were fresh and satisfying. The location is convenient for exploring Rome on foot. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We were lucky enough to get the two last rooms here as our travel agent had given us wrong information and after travelling 24 hrs from the Southern Hemisphere we had no accommodation. The manager at the front desk helped us and was so accommodating as we were tired and stressed and frustrated. He made us comfortable and relaxed with his help even to speaking to our pre booked accommodation and organising someone to meet and greet us and help us into where we had booked. The kitchen staff also ate the best, extremely helpful and courteous, nothing is a problem for these people. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee, “tops!’

This hotel is a little gem. Very modest accomodations with small rooms & comfortable beds. Located on a busy but surprisingly quiet street. What makes this hotel stand out is the superb staff. Thank you Alena & Armando for your kindness! ( & Excellent coffee. My family thanks you for a superb stay.

Absolutely excellent place to stay in central Rome. Excellent staff, clean rooms, breakfast is great and you are in the middle of everything. Will be returning again - no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Second time here and feel the same way as the first.

I chose the option of paying at the accommodation. They tested the veracity of the card by simulating a charge of 135 euros, once that transaction is made they do not cancel it, therefore you are 15 days without that money in the account, because they let it pass until the bank rejects it. They cover their backs by saying that they have not charged you anything, but 135 euros have disappeared from your account, and on top of that they tell you that they will cancel it when you leave the hotel, that is, if it is 3 weeks later, 3 weeks that you do not have the money plus how long it takes your bank to return it to you. I canceled the reservation and they have not canceled the transaction either, so I will still be without my 135 euros in the account for 15 days.
